Job Description: Drink Server

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follows state, federal, and corporate rules concerning the provision of alcoholic drinks to minors and customers who are intoxicated.
• Prepares designated service areas; acquires and replenishes supplies of beer, wine, alcoholic drinks, paper necessities, stirring tools, garnishes, drinking vessels, frozen water, and fresh produce.
• Handles stock, readies, safeguards, and organizes all freshly collected fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishable items to assure product quality.
• Extends a courteous welcome to all visitors.
• Processes beverage requests, mixing, decorating, and serving drinks following specified recipes and portion control practices.
• Inspects patrons' identification documents at the bar to validate their age for serving alcohol.
• Observes and addresses intoxicated patrons following prescribed procedures. Exhibits comprehension of alcohol-related laws.
• Handles cash received from guests, gives back change, authenticates the legitimacy of expenses, records expenditures, and ensures the correct completion of vouchers.
• Ensures the safety of all stored beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash by locking them up securely.
• Carries out standard cleaning tasks to uphold health and safety requirements; organizes and tidies the work area to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
• Ensures that the bar area looks visually appealing by arranging bottles and glasses thoughtfully.
• Launder stemware to ensure cleanliness and safety for use.
• Undertakes other assigned obligations.
