- Store or discard food safely and according to food handling standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
- Assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving.
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Attend in-service and safety training.

- Follow all safety procedures including:
- Wearing cut gloves when handling knives and sharp tools.
