Job Description Lobby Host:

Our franchise organization, John Gomez Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Lobby Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

Guest Service:

• Extends a personal greeting to arriving patrons and offers a genuine invitation to return as they depart.
• Extends help to those staying at the establishment who may need support.
• Manages the GC To Go order processing system smoothly.
• Amiable and considerate in phone interactions.
• Handles payments accurately.
• Understands and complies with job duties concerning just-in-time delivery.
• Familiar with the daily buffet selection and knowledgeable about the menu items and their costs.

Cleanliness:

• Keeps the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas organized and clutter-free.
• It is important to help with setting up the buffet correctly and checking the accuracy of labels. Cleaning duties include buffets and their nearby areas.
• Abides by the directives prescribed by the local public health department.
• Oversees duty scheduling to uphold standards of cleanliness, service, and quality.

Operational Excellence:

• Alerts the supervisor to the necessity of relocating money from the till to the secure safe to diminish the risk of theft.
• Ensures that the daily paperwork reflects the correct balance in the drawer.
