Job Description for Custodian:

In the position of a Custodian, you have a significant impact on fostering a pristine, secure, and friendly dining ambiance for our patrons. Your focus on cleanliness and systematic approach plays a vital role in delivering flawless table service and a pleasant atmosphere for every guest. By upholding superior cleanliness standards internally and externally, you provide essential support to the team.

Key Responsibilities for Custodian:

• Employ the use of specialized equipment to wash and sanitize various kitchen items, including dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, and pans.
• Ensure that all dishware and utensils are washed, dried, and stored correctly to cater to the needs of guests and the team.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining zones, restrooms, and areas not visible to customers to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Ensure daily tidying and organization in the utility space.
• To keep the kitchen and utility floors clean and sanitized, make sure to sweep, mop, and disinfect them on a regular basis.
• Preserve the cleanliness of the loading dock and dumpster vicinity by managing trash removal and sanitation efforts.
• Execute the deep-cleaning tasks on a routine basis as scheduled.
• Comply with the regulations specified by the local health department and adhere to the safety protocols implemented by the company.
• Replenish the Cook, Line, and Server stations with freshly washed dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Immediate notification to the Manager is necessary for addressing any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Prioritize cleanliness while efficiently managing workload to meet peak hour demands.
• Contribute to exceptional guest satisfaction by consistently ensuring the cleanliness of dishes and dining areas.
• Help the kitchen crew by providing timely delivery of spotless dishware and utensils.

Qualifications for Custodian:

• Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced ambiance while upholding uncompromising standards of cleanliness.
• A team-oriented individual noted for their positive approach to tasks and strong sense of diligence.
• Requires the ability to remain standing for prolonged periods and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to cover shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays when the need arises.
• No need for previous experience as training will be given.
