Job Description:Dining Room Host

Our franchise organization, John Gomez Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Dining Room Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

Guest Service:

• Provides a warm welcome to guests as they arrive and bids them a sincere farewell, inviting them to come back again.
• Offers aid to guests who require any form of assistance.
• Oversees the execution of GC On the Go's takeaway orders.
• Kind and respectful when communicating over the phone.
• Handles payments accurately.
• Is knowledgeable about and adheres to assigned tasks in connection with just-in-time delivery.
• Well-informed about the daily buffet offerings and has a clear understanding of the menu choices and pricing.

Cleanliness:

• Ensures the vestibule, host/cashier station, and nearby regions are kept clean and orderly.
• Aiding in the proper arrangement of the buffet and verifying label accuracy is important. This also includes cleaning the buffets and the areas surrounding them.
• Complies with the regulations implemented by the city health department.
• Organizes duty rotations to ensure compliance with cleanliness, service, and quality standards.

Operational Excellence:

• Notifies the manager of the appropriate time to move cash from the register to the secure safe in order to reduce the likelihood of robbery.
• Validates the accuracy of the drawer balance through daily paperwork verification.
