Job Summary of Chef:

Ensures that food is prepared according to federal, state, and company regulations to maintain exceptional food service.

Responsibilities for Chef:

• Create and deliver high-caliber cuisine following specified recipes and service schedules.
• Serve meals in proper proportions, at the right temperature, and with an appealing look.
• Stick to the specified protocols for the handling and recording of tickets during service engagements.
• Keep the kitchen, refrigerators, and storage areas free of dirt and clutter.
• Safely store or discard food items according to recommended food handling procedures.
• Operate and sustain kitchen tools appropriately.
• Assist in developing production plans, organizing files, ordering supplies, and supervising incoming shipments.
• Timely reporting of equipment problems or safety issues is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment.
• Participate in in-service activities and safety education.
• Establish a work environment that emphasizes positivity and respect as core values in all professional relationships.
• Comply with safety instructions to prevent any potential risks:
• Incorporating protective cut gloves into the process of handling knives and sharp tools.
• Protecting your hands with oven mitts or gloves is advisable when dealing with high temperatures.
• Wearing slip-resistant footwear and applying safe lifting techniques.
• Undertake further tasks as allocated.
