Job Description forBeverage Server:

The main duties and tasks that need to be fulfilled:

• Abides by the regulations set forth by the state, federal government, and employer regarding the service of alcohol to individuals who are underage or intoxicated.
• Arranges allocated bar counters; sources and restocks supplies of beer, wine, distilled spirits, disposable items, mixing tools, enhancements, glass vessels, frozen liquid, and natural edibles.
• Takes charge of inventory, readies, preserves, and organizes all newly picked fruit and vegetable decorations, juices, and other short-lived products to secure the quality of the item.
• Greets guests with kindness and respect.
• Receives and handles drink orders, expertly crafting and presenting beverages with accurate ingredient proportions.
• Scrutinizes guests' identification cards at the bar as a part of age verification procedures.
• Notifies authorities or intervenes with inebriated customers as instructed. Shows competence in understanding liquor statutes.
• Receives payments in cash from visitors, gives appropriate change, confirms the legitimacy of charges, logs transactions, and checks that vouchers are correctly filled out.
• Locks up all beverages, food items, equipment, deposits, and cash drops for safe storage and bank security.
• Executes general cleaning responsibilities to meet health and safety standards; endeavors to maintain a neat and structured work environment.
• Maintains an attractive appearance in the bar by organizing bottles and glassware effectively.
• Sterilizes and washes stemware for a spotless appearance.
• Completes any other duties as designated.
