Primary job requirements and responsibilities:

• Inspects the production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to understand the items that should be transferred, collected, or dispersed.
• Carries materials from receiving or production zones to designated storage sites.
• Stocks shelves, racks, or bins with materials or goods in a specific order determined by factors such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Delivers materials or tools to production workers or assembly lines after filling requisitions or work orders.
• Collects customer orders from stock and arranges them on pallets or shelves; transports the orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Places individualized markings on the items.
• Unties bales, crates, and different enclosures.
• Tracks the quantities of materials or items received or dispatched.
• Confirms the weight or number of items being allocated in the plant to uphold adherence to company standards.
• Sets up stock materials in a specific sequence to facilitate assembly by fellow employees.
• Uses a computer to log data accurately.
• Collects worksheets or tickets in alignment with customer requests.
• Drives a vehicle to convey stored items or to gather materials.
• Submits forms to secure supplies from other plant departments.
• Arranges goods for delivery.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Completes any other tasks as deemed necessary.
• Follows HACCP protocols to guarantee proper presentation, portion sizes, and the preservation of serving temperatures.
