Job Description for Assistant Shop Manager:

The primary objective for Palm Beach Tan is to recruit an Assistant Shop Manager who can contribute positively to the salon's operations, supervise a proficient team, and ensure customers receive top-notch service consistently. The Assistant Manager will participate in a structured training plan lasting 5 weeks, which has been developed to facilitate a successful transition into a management position and enhance sales abilities.

Responsibilities:

• The position entails participation in a 5-week training program for managers, coupled with performance measurements.
• Preserve the store workforce by engaging in the recruitment, selection, and growth of staff members
• Cultivate an environment that promotes positivity and encourages mutual respect among employees and customers alike
• Strive to meet personal performance targets and support the professional development of team members
• Evaluate daily sales details to enhance sales outcomes
• Complying with the demands of banking, security, operational, and legal criteria
• Regulate expenditures on labor, supplies, and upkeep
• Delegate, supervise, and track daily responsibilities to ensure the store remains tidy, well-stocked, and orderly
• Provide top-notch service to customers and address any issues they may have with precision

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to effectively motivate others
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Other duties as assigned
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
