Job Summary

Offers a friendly welcome to diners, records specific meal and drink preferences in a respectful and polished approach, and guarantees swift, precise distribution of all items to customers in the dining area, preserving a strong level of alertness and service excellence to secure guest delight.

Core duties and obligations:

• Greet visitors in the restaurant promptly and with a friendly demeanor; serve food and drinks in a timely fashion, following established service protocols.
• Ensures food is delivered promptly and with professionalism, consistently upholding proper food safety and sanitation protocols. Regularly follows up to address any additional needs or requests.
• Exhibits a comprehensive grasp of the menu items and the ingredients utilized. Provides recommendations to customers regarding suitable food and drink combinations upon inquiry; fulfills reasonable requests and takes note of preferences. When required, shows proficiency in specialized diets and allergenic substances.
• Establishes direct communication channels with the kitchen team to verify order accuracy and cater to any special customer needs.
• Shows excellent communication aptitude and displays a knack for fostering positive connections with others. Exhibits adaptability and patience when engaging with guests and team members.
• Responsible for ticket collection and following appropriate cash management guidelines.
• Encourages a hygienic and secure atmosphere for guests.
• Ensures a heightened level of sensitivity and secrecy when dealing with shared personal or medical data.
• Responds quickly to complaints or issues and communicates any pertinent information or grievances directly to the supervisor.
• Establishes the correct setup of the dining space before and after serving hours, adhering to cleanliness standards.
• Handles multiple types of machinery like fire extinguishers, telecommunication devices, drink dispensers, and coffee brewers.
• Coordinates with staff members of various departments to execute job tasks at special events and functions.
• Undertakes any other responsibilities as required.
