As a Kitchen Steward, your role is indispensable in establishing a clean, safe, and inviting dining setting for our customers. Your meticulousness in maintaining cleanliness and order plays a key part in delivering flawless table service and a pleasant environment for every guest. By upholding the highest cleanliness standards internally and externally, you provide crucial support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employ dishwashing equipment to sanitize and clean dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Verify that all tableware and utensils are cleaned, dried thoroughly, and stored in the correct manner for both customer and staff utilization.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen, dining zones, restrooms, and areas not visible to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the utility room every day.
• Keep the kitchen and utility floors clean and germ-free by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing them on a regular basis.
• Dispose of waste and uphold sanitation standards in the dumpster vicinity and loading dock.
• Follow the schedule for deep-cleaning tasks and perform them consistently as required.
• Observe the rules enforced by the local health department and follow the safety measures outlined by the company.
• Restore the inventory of spotless dishes, silverware, and glassware at the Cook, Line, and Server stations.
• Notify the Manager immediately of any equipment issues or safety hazards that need attention.
• Efficiently manage workload during peak hours to meet demand and cleanliness requirements.
• Ensure a top-notch guest experience by keeping dishes and dining sections impeccably clean.
• Support the dining establishment by delivering freshly cleaned dishes and utensils when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in managing tasks in a high-speed environment while ensuring adherence to strict cleanliness criteria.
• An effective team member known for their upbeat attitude and diligent work principles.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and carry loads of up to 50 lbs in weight.
• Being on call during nights, weekends, and holidays is a mandatory aspect of the role.
• No previous experience needed; we will offer training.
