Food Service Worker

Job Description:

The main responsibility of the Server is Making Pleasurable Dining Affordable. Fulfilling Golden Corral's mission statement requires a positive attitude and on going professionalism. Hospitality is the most important part of the Server's responsibilities. The keys to success for a Server include a clean, neat appearance, positive attitude, and courtesy.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure guest satisfaction and encourage return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests
• Anticipate guest needs and work to create a pleasurable dining experience
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge of menu items and special promotions
• Support fellow servers and staff to deliver outstanding team service
• Understand product specifications and ensure accurate guest check totals
• Perform opening and closing duties and side work tasks
• Report any equipment or facility issues to the manager
• Follow proper bussing and table reset procedures
• Practice all safety protocols for guest and team well-being
• Complete tasks on the duty roster, maintaining service, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Comply with local health department laws and food safety standards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• No prior experience required – training will be provided
• Must have a clean, neat appearance and maintain uniform standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or dishes for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to safe work practices and guest satisfaction
