Job Summary of Event Catering Assistant:

Carries out the delivery and service of food during scheduled catering functions, supervised by the Catering Captain for adherence to expectations. This role may involve driving a catering delivery vehicle and encompasses responsibilities such as setting up, serving, cleaning, and replenishing resources and tools.

Key functions and roles for Event Catering Assistant:

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions.
• Log and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Set up tables, decorations, and buffet arrangements.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Clean event location during and after events.
• Return leftover food, equipment, and utensils to catering facility promptly.
• Distribute and collect guest feedback cards.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Provide friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the menu and available products.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures consistently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may need to be presented.
• Having a legitimate food handler?? license or being eligible to obtain one is essential.
