Job Summary:Restaurant Counter Cashier

Executes Restaurant Counter Cashier responsibilities, which involve conducting cash dealings, validating cash drawer integrity, dispensing correct change, totaling cash profits, and concluding cash paperwork. Furthermore, the potential for undertaking assorted food service functionalities. Upholds cleanliness benchmarks within the food preparation, customer service, and dining room spaces.

Key duties and responsibilities that are indispensable:

• Executes sales transactions in a timely manner.
• Ensures that all sales are accurately logged by entering them into the cash register.
• Allows transactions using declining balance cards and other valid payment options; offers customers receipts as proof of purchase.
• Ensures that standard procedures are followed for authorizing cash returns.
• Engages in customer interactions and resolves any complaints in a manner that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
• Tasked with handling all designated change funds and cash receipts to ensure the cash drawer complies with overage/shortage regulations.
• Observes what customers order in the caf? line and identifies the standard portion distinctions.
• Maintains the cleanliness of service areas while restocking condiments, coffee, beverages, and supplies.
• Keeps the pastry case consistently filled with fresh products.
• Ensures conformity with company service standards and measures for inventory and cash management procedures.
• Ensures that all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety standards are met.
• Undertakes extra assignments as instructed.

Qualifications:

• Preferably, candidates should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
