Responsibilities:

• Exhibit strong proficiency in the menu to explain our offerings to guests, keep them informed about current food promotions and specials, and address any queries they may have.
• Accurately documents food and beverage orders on guest tickets and promptly enters them into the POS system before serving, employing correct abbreviations and charges.
• Provides efficient food and beverage service to patrons by fetching orders from the kitchen and delivering them promptly to guests within the server's area or other sections within the restaurant.
• Ability to gauge guest behavior and identify when it is necessary to involve a Manager, even in sections managed by other team members.
• Abide by alcohol awareness procedures for age verification, intoxication prevention, and managing intoxicated Guests while following company alcohol policies.
• Confirm the correctness of all financial dealings and uphold accuracy when handling coins for making change.
• Operate credit card processors accurately.
• Delivers timely and accurate change calculations for guests.
• Maintains table orderliness by pre-bussing, monitoring beverage levels, decluttering, and supplying enough napkins.
• Keeps the station spotless, arranges and dismantles station tables correctly.
• Executes duties related to shift changeover or the beginning and end of the day.
• Ensures adherence to company safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
• Offers help to other team members based on the demands of the business.
• Promotes a positive working relationship with all colleagues to foster unity and uphold a high level of team morale within the company.
• Always presents Golden Corral in a favorable manner.
• Maintains the cleanliness of work areas and ensures proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.

Requirements:

• Competence in expressing thoughts and ideas clearly in English, both orally and through writing
• Keeping a professional demeanor that is neat and orderly is a cornerstone of success
• Resilient endurance for extended or alternating work periods
• Be vertical for an extended period
• Capable of working at different times based on job requirements

• Capable of lifting 25 pounds multiple times within a day
• We are seeking individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in money handling
• Prior waitstaff experience is a plus
