Vital Job Functions for Janitor:

• In charge of cleaning and rinsing off food debris from dirty dishes, then subsequently washing them manually or guiding them through dishwashing equipment to ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Cleans pots, pans, and trays with precision, adhering to designated procedures for sanitation.
• Revives the brightness of silver objects by using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth in accordance with the provided procedures. Ensures thorough cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Secures compliance with specified safety protocols.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical quantities as per designated requirements.
• Keeps the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follows safety and sanitation guidelines by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors diligently.
• Keeps worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces free of dirt and grime.
• Takes care of trash disposal by placing it in designated receptacles and utilizing steam cleaning or hosing to sanitize bins.
• Transports items and tools throughout various workspaces.
• Aids in the handling and transfer of supplies and merchandise during loading and unloading procedures.
• Performs extra duties as required.
